Staff Selection Commission




Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2011- (Tier-II)

Write-up/Cutoff Marks:

The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2011 on 3rd and 4th September, 2011 at the various centers scattered all over the country. The result of the examination was declared on 29th September, 2011
Marks of 84625 candidates qualified/not qualified in CGL Tier-II Examination, 2011 including candidate rejected in Tier-II and have been awarded Zero Marks due to wrong coding of their particulars (Name, Roll No., Ticket No., Test Form No., without signature and without left hand thumb impression) on the front page of their OMR answer sheet is now placed the website. The abbreviations used for the purpose of indicating rejection are as under:
TF No. – Test Form Number.
TKT No. - Ticket Number.
W S - Without Signature.
R.No. - Roll Number.
LTI - Left Hand Thumb Impression
INVROLL- Invalid Roll Number
The marks are placed on the website without prejudice to the Commission’s decision to verify the details in first page of OMR sheets of the candidates with reference to other documents and without prejudice to the Commission causing examination suo-moto or otherwise on adherence to Commission’s Guidelines and Instructions.

CENTRAL POLICE FORCES (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) EXAMINATION, 2011

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Central Police Forces

(Assistant Commandants) Examination 2011 at 41  Centres throughout the country on

 09.10.2011

(Sunday).   Admission Certificates  to the candidates have been dispatched.    Letters 

of rejection

stating the reason(s) for rejection have also been issued.   If any candidate has not 

received either

the Admission Certificate or rejection letter, he/she may contact UPSC Facilitation 

Counter near Gate

‘C’ of its campus in person or on Telephone Nos. 011-23385271, 011-23381125 or 

011-23098543 on

all working days between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs.       The candidates may also send fax 

messages on

Fax No. 011-23387310.  
  
2.  Information regarding venues of Examination is also available on Union Public

Service Commission’s Website at  http://www.upsc.gov.in.   The eligible candidates

who have not

received the Admission Certificates may download the “Venue Information” from the 

above

mentioned website and use it for appearing in the examination.   The candidates 

intending to appear

in the examination using downloaded “Venue Information” are advised to reach the 

venue of their

examination on the day of examination.   Such candidates are also advised to carry two

 identical

photographs (one photograph for each session), otherwise they may not be allowed to

 take the

examination.        They  may  also  carry  proof  of  their  identity  such  as  identity 

card,  Voter  Identity  Card,

Driving Licence, Passport etc to the venue of the Examination.

MOBILE PHONES BANNED: -

(a) Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside 

the premises

where the examination is being conducted.   Any infringement of these instructions shall

 entail disciplinary actionincluding ban from future UPSC examinations.

(b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not  to bring any of the banned items

including mobile

phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping cannot

 be assured

Pay-Scale: (PB-2), Rs. 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-

Educational Qualification: The candidates, interested to apply for this recruitment must 


have Bachelor Degree in Science with Physics as one of the subject / Computer 


Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Diploma in Electronics &


 Telecommunication Engineering from recognized University or Institution or its 


equivalent.

Payment: Through State Bank of India (SBI) Challan OR using online payment facility 


of SBI.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the candidates for appointment on the post of Scientific Assistant in


 Meteorological department will be based on a written examination followed by 


Interview.
